Medicare Fair Drug Pricing Act Could Save Beneficiaries Billions of Dollars

January 20, 2016

You can help ensure that Medicare’s prescription drug prices are affordable by signing the National Committee to Preserve Social Security & Medicare’s (NCPSSM) latest petition

The Medicare Fair Drug Pricing Act (H.R. 4207), would allow Medicare to negotiate prices for prescription drugs with limited to no competition. This price negotiation is currently prohibited by law, and is preventing Americans access to affordable healthcare with ever-increasing prices for prescription drugs.

This issue affects all Social Security disability recipients; 24 months after someone is approved for Social Security disability benefits, he/she will receive Medicare. It is critical to support all political initiates to protect Social Security and Medicare.
