Attorney Daniel Santiago appointed chair of the Elder Law Committee for American Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division

On May 1, 2015, Associate Attorney Daniel Santiago was appointed the chair of the Elder Law Committee for the American Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division (ABA YLD). His official term begins August 1, 2015, and he will hold this position for one year.

 

Under Daniel’s leadership, the committee will provide services to 130,000 members and 300 affiliate groups. Daniel hopes his extensive knowledge about Social Security will have an immediate impact.

 

“I am incredibly humbled and honored to have been selected as chair,” he said. “I do not take this appointment lightly. I hope to make strides within the Elder Law Committee so that it is serving its members and stakeholders to the best of its ability.”

 

The ABA YLD is the largest young lawyers organization in the world. It is composed of members of the American Bar Association that are under 36 years old and provides members with the tools for professional and personal success.
